Oguta Lake, Oguta.
Oguta Lake is a lean ‘finger lake’ formed by the damming of the lower Njaba River with alluvium. It is the largest natural lake in Imo State, Southeastern Nigeria; within the equatorial rainforest region of Niger Delta. This place is among the top tourist palace in Nigeria.

The history of Adapalm captures an impressive reminder of what the defunct Eastern Region set out to achieve under a federal system, which Nigeria started with. It was on that ground that the Eastern Nigeria government under the colonial administration of Dr. Michael Okpara established the Ohaji Palm Settlement in 1953. Dr. Okpara, notably, established several farm settlements in different parts of Eastern region that provided the bull work for economic development. Adapalm occupies an area of 4,310 hectares of oil palm plantation planted between 1975 and 1978, while another 20 hectares were planted in 1995.
The main products of the company are Special Palm Oil (SPO) and palm kernel. The products expected from the value chain include vegetable oil, laundry soap, glycerin, palm kernel cake and oil.

Ngwu Spring Natural Water: Otherwise known as Iyi Umugara, this natural spring, which is found in Nkwere local government area of the state presents sparkling natural water, pure and crystal-like. It could not exactly be called a waterfall because it lacks the height of one.
The stream is formed by cascading spring water seen as awesome and mysterious given the fact that even during the dry season the flow rather than cease, increases and flows endlessly. Naturally other rivers and lakes would record a drop in volume of its water during the dry season when it sees a depletion of its supply from the natural sources of rain.

The Nekede zoo is located in Owerri West Local Government Area of the state.The zoological garden established in 1976 under the state Ministry of Agriculture as an animal park, the Nekede Zoological Garden which sits on 10 hectares of reserved forest, houses a variety of animals, including lions, chimpanzees, monkeys, pythons, ostriches and crocodiles, among other animals.
